Happy Labor Day!
For those who are unaware of Labor Day, it is a federal holiday in the United States. It's celebrated on the first Monday in September and it is meant to honor and recognize the American Labor Movement. It was created by the Labor movement in the late 19th century and be came a federal holiday in 1894! It is also called the unofficial end of summer. Sometimes there are Labor Day sales, which it can be one of the biggest deals until Black Friday that we have in November.
It is often a day that we grill, spend time with family, perhaps just relax with friends or family. Some do go shopping to make use of the deals.
What are you doing today? We just intend on gaming (husband's game has XP bonus this weekend) and then grilling burgers for dinner. It was nice to have a day off together.
