Yeah . It has happened to someone very close me and people who knew her fell to the scam and they have to complain to her about it. This is indeed very sad.

I beleieve the only way where why you can recover your hacked Facebook account is if you registered with your email instead of your phone number and you must change the password immediately.

I think that teh best thing to do is that you have to contact the support and provide them with some key identification to show that the account is yours and that it has been hacked.

Well it depends though. Early last year, my account was also hacked. I didnt even noticed until i tried logging in. The lock i had was the fact that all the details i used in opening the account still excited. The mobile number, and email where all still very active. I had to go for forget password, it was a long process though but i was able to get it back. So if you still have does details go for forget password and follow the steps from there.

This is very scary and I think that we all need to be careful with the way we make use of our Facebook account these days as most Facebook hackers and now very much advance in hacking people's account. We should be especially careful when you come to clicking links.

Yes it is true that your facebook account cant be hacked when all the required securities are put in place, like you two factor authentication and the likes. But it can still be hacked in cases whereby your phone is stolen. In that case they have all that is needed. As they have the phone number and email with them.

Even with that ,it will be difficult because you can use another person's phone to lock out all your account in any mobile phone in which your password was into ,this will prevent another person from having access to your account.

The correct approach for you to have taken was to contact Facebook and make them aware of the situation and have that account details changed and secured for you again. You should have received a mail to that effect if your Facebook account was logged Into from somewhere
