Google to give more importance to contents with verified profiles

Google's former CEO Eric Schmidt recently said that Google will be giving more importance to the contents written or published by verified profiles.
Google authorship has been around here for quite some time now. If you haven't linked your profile to your websites, I guess its time already!

See what Schmidt says:

Within search results, information tied to verified online profiles will be ranked higher than content without such verification, which will result in most users naturally clicking on the top (verified) results. The true cost of remaining anonymous, then, might be irrelevance.
