I've seen this happen on a few forums. After reaching a certain number of posts, forum admins will let their owners withdraw money based on points. Do you think more forums should do this, is this a great way to get new visitors? Or is it an unnecessary experience? The main problem I think is making sure the members are using the site because they want to, not because they are going to be making cash. So that reason alone would make me very hesitant to do it on a forum, but as a forum poster I would definitely enjoy it. It's just a way to thank the posters for using their site! So what would you do with regard to this?

I am working on a few forums and all of the forums where I participate on the discussion gives monetary rewards for my work. In other words, I earn money from forum posting. I think paying members to create content is a good way to build members and content.

Rewarding active members with cash incentives is a good strategy to keep your forum active. Forums is not like Facebook or even Reddit where people keep on posting even when they don't receive any incentives.
