After convincing my parents to pay for it- so that I don't have to
- I am getting a cheapo guitar!!! I think it'll help my singing a lot and it gives me something different to play than violin. I am looking at a Fender CE- 60 model which is $500 NZ but includes a hard cover case (which are around $70) and an on-board tuner. So the actual guitar is still a cheap model- but with the case it'll get a bit of protection. Will, all going well, be getting this Monday ![Big grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I do formal tuition for violin and singing but I am getting a friend to teach me guitar, he benefits by getting service hours which are crucial for our qualification- International Baccalaureate (IB). So that will be a bit different!
