I still remember way back with my first forums using FreeForums. After a while i moved it over to my own hosting. How else started a forum using FreeForums in the past?

FreeForums I tried but I didn't use it much but I liked how they had a donation area compared to other forums. Sad that they are closed

I used it for a few but quickly moved to prophphbb as there was less adverts in the latter

I started out in the past using FreeForums.org and created different forums there, not to mention working on other forums that were created by others on there. That was a long time ago. It was good back then for a learning experience and I'm thankful for that. I'm not sure how it is now.
