Forum graphics

Are you able to make all graphics for your forum by yourself or you have to hire somebody to do it for you? Or, maybe find online free icons, headers, or whatever to make it work?
I know this is the hardest part for me when running the forum. I want all to be good but best I can do is to find free icons on https://www.iconfinder.com/ and just hope it can fit for my forum. But, when it comes to a header/logo, I am screwed hardcore. I just have no idea how to deal with this

I make as many of the graphics I need for my forum and I am also hired on some forums to help make their graphics for them for advertising purposes as well.

I wouldn't say I am a full professional when it comes to graphics but I can make some really good graphics if I have an idea of what is needed.

I make most of the graphics for my forum. Granted I base the theme off the phpBB default but will make my own for a lot of the graphics to go with each theme.
