Quite the contrary. Gaming PCs actually cost around 4x that of a console. A good graphics card alone is around $1500 now due to gouged prices on graphics cards.

Few months ago, I bought PS5 for about $1000, however, I bought a gaming laptop for $1400 about two years ago.
