Every time I've ever tried to start a blog, I've found that I could not sustain my level of enthusiasm. It started to feel more like work, and I quickly lost interest. I have never found a way around this.

Have you ever started a blog only to forget about it because of a lack of enthusiasm?

Sometimes you just need a creative break, and there's nothing wrong with that. It happens to all of us eventually. I recommend taking a break. Maybe work on some other projects, but if you think of something or have an AHA moment related to your blog, then I would write it down ASAP and save it for later.

I think it's hard to maintain enthusiasm when you're blogging about only one subject. When I would blog about numerous topics, it became a lot easier to maintain my enthusiasm.

That's the story of James complains haha. Loved it for the first few months then started to resent having to write for it.

Blog out about multiple subjects. And don't be afraid to add in some personal blog posts about your life.
