Electricity: Do you think it is an "Essential"

We use Electricity everyday in our lives and we probably don't even realise it. We charge our phones, we use lights and much more. I personally think life would be very difficult without electricity since we have gone all these years with it and we have got so used to using Electricity. What do you think about this?

Yes, I'd say it's a necessity. Every human being should have access to electricity.

We also live longer and have a better quality of life with electricity. And I think the trick will be to find a way to make electricity even more affordable than it is now. Personally, I love what they've done with lights - They've created LED lights which uses less energy and lasts longer. Also, it's brighter.

Here in Nevada, solar companies have moved out because the electric company here got the board to raise prices on solar energy customers; it'd cost more for them to use than it would be for them to use the normal electric. It's pretty sad.
