I surely hope not, my neighbor plays his loud karaoke music every day and nobody seems to be complaining. Although I do agree that playing drums on a more compressed environment would be better for you and for those who don't want to listen. We've put some egg cartons over our walls to keep the sound bouncing around the room and it seems to work nice, not as good as actual soundproof walls but it's better than nothing.
