Does YouTube go after small time channels?

I think no because you are not making enough money for them. Youtube only cares about the channels that bring it a lot of money and it lets the algorithm take care of everything else.

Maybe they prefer top channels that help them to make significant gains from the ads being placed on videos uploaded by the channel owners.
You couldn't have stated it any better. They have more allegiance to channels that make the business profitable and give little to no concern to those small ones.

I think they don't ban big channel maybe they have considered as being in the game for long and they are quite sure that they are following up their rules , although my YouTube channel is actually active up till now

I'm not really a YouTube user but if this is really true then it's a shame on the name of the number one video creation channel all over the world. However, I know they also have their own terms of service so users should check for it and use it accordingly

I don't think that they discriminate the small time channels as you are saying. I think they just ban those channels which are not following the rules. Even if it is a big time channel, it will get banned if it does not follow the rules.

I don't think YouTube bans channels just because they're small. I know big channels have some advantages over smaller ones but YouTube gives warning and can ban your channel when it breaks rules.

I think YouTube is the biggest video creation company that is if I'm not mistaken. I don't think such PLATFORM will just be banning people's account any how. They just need to follow their rules and regulations. That's all

Not really necessary but you need to look for more subscribers.. where you will get alot of followers and also make money out of it

YouTube likes to ban small time YouTube channels and seem to never go after the bigger ones. This is something that's happened quite a bit over the years. They will give you strikes much easier and ban you but a big time YouTube channel might not receive the same. I know several people who had between 1,000-5,000 subscribers and have been banned before just because they make comments a lot on other channels. It's quite a shame. These people I know start their channel over and have been doing fine since.
Thank you for sharing this information to us. You are giving me an idea when I will create my own YouTube channel. I hope I will not get banned by YouTube when I have little subscribers yet. So sad to know about those small channels who get banned by YouTube. I think that YouTube pays attention only to big channels. I think they are screening out these small channels because they can only advertise to little audience. YouTube wants millions of audiences.

It is very important to understand that when your channel does not meet the terms and conditions of YouTube then I definitely terminate it.

The fact is that YouTube is very strict with their rules and regulations and most times new channel in their quest to get followers spam other channels

I don't have YouTube channel so i don't know much about it, but from what i read in the comments box i understand that YouTube care much about big channels.

Yes and the criteria to qualify for monetization is very strict. I once trird to make some contents in YouTube so that I can make some money out of it, but in reality it is very hard to get monetization enabled.

Sometimes I wonder why big companies like YouTube and Google act in such bad ways. any mistake from a small publisher you get banned by Google but it's not so with big websites.

Yeah, I have come across with these type of news many times. Normally, most of the time it's the fault of the website owner/ contents creator. They should follow all the rules before posting something.

I thank YouTube go in small channel because they know that small channel business will give them some revenue, because the small channel will bring copyright content in their video.
YouTube do not like small channel at the prepared bigger youtube channels as this are the ones that can be money tight and bring Revenue to them and also to you.

I have been a YouTuber for over a year now and I have not experienced anything as such. I usually feel YouTube are after big channels.
Most times youtube go over small Time channel and YouTube is more preferred because it is more easier to create more than other small-time channels

You can only think of YouTube Monetization if you have a large number of YouTube followers ; atleast 5000 followers and you content must be quality
