We know that internet has changed a lot in the past few decades. Browsers have also changed a lot. There are many websites that do not work on old browsers. However, there are still a few websites that work on old browser, so is your website also one of them?

I will be honest that I have not checked to see if the websites I run still work on old browsers, it has not really crossed my mind as I would not expect many if anyone to be using really old browsers now.

I guess if someone were to come to me and tell me they were having issues and the browser they were using was old, I would look into it more.

I have been using Firefoix since 2005, it is one of the oldest browsers on the internet. Interestingly frefox is my primary browser and my websites work well. Even though Firefox is an old browser, it has been updated numerous times so the current version I use is not the old browser.

So, the big question here is: "Does your website work on old browsers?" Well, let me throw in my two cents on this spicy topic.

First off, let's talk about OctoBrowser. Sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi flick, right? Well, it's not. OctoBrowser is that one friend who refuses to let go of their ancient browser, clinging onto it like it's a prized possession from the '90s. But hey, to each their own, right?

Now, onto the main dish – old browsers and websites. Here's the deal: while it's tempting to say "adios" to compatibility with old browsers and focus solely on the shiny new ones, let's not forget about our digital ancestors. Sure, they might be slow and clunky, like a '70s station wagon, but they still deserve a smooth ride on the information superhighway.

Think about it this way: excluding users on older browsers is like throwing a party and not inviting your OG crew. It's just not cool, man. Plus, who knows? Grandma might be rocking Internet Explorer 6 like it's nobody's business, and she deserves to browse cat videos just like the rest of us.
