Social media is actually good for your website or forum to reach mass people and you can generate some traffic form it. After all you're not losing anything means you only gain from it.

Actually to a greater extent the social media has really helped to build and strengthen forums to promote there major intrest of the forum because many people believe in the social media.

Social media is a a good way of advertising your products but I think forums is more better than social media sometimes, my reason for saying that is because not all people on your social media have idea on the things online, I think forums is more better.

Social media are nowadays blocking free ad by sharing websites especially websites because they have dedicated space for advertisement like Facebook Ads or Youtube Ads not are paying salaries and employees for people promoting their products for free this seems not logic.

Social media platforms are a waste of time. At least forums offer something better and useful as compared to social media sites. I have always preferred forums.

People can be discouraged from using your forum by its lack of popularity, poor content, dull background, and uninteresting write-up, but they will always visit if it can provide them with great information that solves their problems.

Partially yes. Forums are not as popular as they used to be. it's just a fact. But that doesn't mean the forum is dead. Where social media allows for social interaction and discussion with people, I believe forums are still the best place for in-depth discussion. Social media is too crowded and too busy. I think a lot of people prefer the touch of forums, where they can express their opinions and thoughts in more detail and detail than Facebook or Twitter. tough at times.

I believe that paid forums are much better as compared to social media. This is because there are many people on social media who simply troll people all the time.

If you have a forum, and you have a twitter and Instagram page and facebook page for it, what stops people from using those social media posts instead of your forum?
Nowadays, numerous forum administrators have developed a social networking profile for their site, so social networking sites are just used to advertise the forum to attract individuals who can attend the forum by using social media.

There is big difference between social media and forums, social media is not only for businesses, some people are just wasting their precious time using it but in forums you can learn alot about finance, business, stocks and crypto.

Yes, forum owners have definitely developed social media presence as well because it helps them a lot. It also helps them to gain more exposure as well and gain more members.

I still prefer forum to social media platforms to get my information. This is because people who are in forums always give in-depth explanation of everything they're talking about.

Lack of Popularity, lack of quality information, dull back ground and write up, Can stop people from using your forum, but when your forum can solve people's problem with quality information, people will always come in.
Interestingly, social media can be extremely beneficial in promoting forums, based on how people utilize it and the effect of the forum on users. If the forum can help solve people's problems, then that is promotion by itself.

That is very true, I don't think it will make sense to waste my time on any social media platform that can not be beneficial to me, especially if information from there is not even true and also bad write ups.

Social media is a good way of advertising your products but forums are better so I don't think Social media destroys forums they do not destroy them in any way

for me, i believe it is both ways, it can help your forum and at the same time can also destroy your forum as well, but you really have to be smart about how you manage it, because that would greatly determine your success

The quality of information you get on forums and the ones you get on social media is quite different. Personally I don't like social media much because some of the information I get there is very wrong when you compare it with forums.

Being social media- centric has really been a strategy implemented by the moderators of forums for their forum to ensure promotion is at its peak

Actually social media do really helped alot of forums most especially those that are legit and doing well tonit members and also destroy such site that are not straight forward in there dealings.
