Does Call of Duty need to change again?

I feel like Call of Duty as a franchise needs to change again. The recent Modern Warfare III is being regarded as a failure, at least in terms of its lackluster campaign. I don't know about the online side of it, I imagine they are fine there. But I think even the multiplayer side has become stale. I haven't played a new COD in a while and this new game doesn't interest me at all.

Do you think the hype for COD will finally die down?

I think COD has been famous for a while and many players are very loyal just like the old FIFA franchise, now FC, but I think in the long term they will have to change their system if they don't want to lose more and more relevance, but in the short term I think it will remain quite strong.

I used to get hyped for every new release, but I skipped out on Modern Warfare III because it just didn’t seem like anything new or exciting. The multiplayer is still fun, but it feels like the same thing over and over. I think they need to do something drastic to keep people interested long-term.

If you’re still sticking with it and having a tough time keeping up, I’ve seen people use 11 COD Hacks to stay competitive. It’s one way to spice things up.
