Do you still rent or hire books?

I can remember when hiring/renting of books is common in my neighbourhood. Books stores do it for their regular customers. Some of them still do it today but most people now prefer to buy their books.

Do you still rent/hire books? Which book did you hire last if you can remember?

I have never paid money to rent or hire books but in the past I used to borrow books form my friends and relatives. I never have had a paid membership at the library. These days when I want to read books, I buy it instead of borrowing it.

No, I'm no longer renting or buying books now. I haven't rented any book in more than 19 years. I've paid for a few books recently than I rented any. Reading is leaving me now and I'm leaving it too.

I do not have a library membership, so I do not rent books. In the past, I had a library membership and I frequently rented library books.
