Do you know your staff's real names? Or Age?

Have you ever let a staff member be a part of your team without knowing their name? Do you know their ages? (if they're younger).

I know the first names of all my staff and i know a little about them, age is not something i consider important though, if you can do the job your old enough

I agree to a point. I think that is generally a good idea if staff members are over 14 and Administrators over 16.... :)
 
I like knowing there name but age isn't important as long they are mature and can handle responsibility.
 
I've known most of their names, but I've never really bothered about ages. As long as they act mature, I don't care how old the are, to be honest.
 
When I own a forum I know all of my staff member's names and ages, because they're provided to me with the application. I personally want to know the age and name of the person I'm working with.
 
I ask for there name but not last name, And there age, Because i want to know about them before i hire them.
 
I prefer not to ask for real name or real age to people I meet on the internet.

If my staffs voluntarily tells me those information, I will not mind though.
 
With all my staff members I know their name and their age and I never allowed them to be involved in my forum the way they are now until I knew them better because I feel unless you know someone better you are really walking into a situation blind. I always try to get to know people more before I will work with them to ensure I know who I am working with and what they relationship will be like.
 
I am a staff member on one rather large forum and all the staff know each other's names. I don't think it is necessary but it helps with team building and trust. Anonymity tempts people into abusing their power so knowing who is behind the pseudonym is beneficial.
