Do you know anyone who has made millions off of their site/domain?

Some of my websites have made thousands of dollars in revenue over the period of 5 years, and I once sold a website for $2000. However, I am far from making millions. I do not know anyone who has actually made millions.

It can, if you look at it based on the long term. Most of those who sweettalk others have been doing the same thing more than five years, at least.

Most newbies expect to start making thousands of dollars in less than a year though.

You have a serious point there because you cannot expect to accumulate thousands of dollars from blog just all of a sudden . It will be a gradual process. You will be making small amount gradually until you will start earning thousands of dollars.

Even you are working 5 or 7 years from your blog you could not reach 1000 $ income per month from ads, blog must do another activity like selling courses or ebooks or posting services or programmation tricks or something like that in order to compensate the hosting and time spent.

I have not engage in domain personally but I know of some guys who have been good in domain business and they have made more than millions of money from the business.

You are never going to regret it if you are going to be going full-time into domain. There's actually a lot of money that you can make from the airport you just have to be very patient and make a lot of research.

It is important to let people understand that blogging is not a get-rich-quick scheme as it was portrayed .

Why would someone want to sell a blog that's making so much money it can be sold for such a large sum of money? I understand that some people get tired of it all, but you can still take a passive role and allow someone to manage the blog instead.

I know of somebody who has sold a couple of websites for a combined five thousand dollars and that is actually a fortune if you are going to convert it to the normal currency.

It is important to let people understand that blogging is not a get-rich-quick scheme as it was portrayed .
You would need to work endlessly to make a certain amount of money in blogging and it will take a long time.

To post 1 article per day in a blog you need no less than 2 hours working for writing good and original content.
People fed up from such things and just wants a blog for short posts and not have much time to do such staff because it will be an exhausting work.
Many writers leave Read Cash so what about an ordinary people like us how is focusing for fast reward?

This is true, blogging is truly a lucrative online adventure especially if you have high visit to your site .

You can only make money through affiliate marketing when you have high visit to your blog but if you do not have considerable number of traffic on your website, it will be extremely difficult to make reasonable amount of money from affiliate marketing.

I can't imagine selling a raw domain for a million dollars. Selling a site for a million dollars could be a thing if you're selling the company behind it along with it, as companies sell for millions of dollars regularly. However, I do not know anyone personally who has done the latter. I wish that I did, for I would talk to them and beg them to teach me their ways of success.

If you continue to listen to the sugar coated words of the YouTubers who claim that they are making millions from their blogs . we will keep making lot of blunders because blogging cannot give you such a huge amount of money.

I agree with this. Blogging alone cannot make huge amounts of money. It is the business that you start out of your blog that will make the millions of dollars by selling products to your loyal fans.

YouTubers usually have blogs as a side hustle to their YouTube channels, and thus have access to sponsorship opportunities that a blogger without a YouTube channel probably won't have. If you're looking to make more income from your blog, starting a YouTube channel for it may be a good idea.

This is true. Ads only work if you're a massive company like Google with millions of pages. It's a very slim margin business, and your need to eat may not fit in that margin. Some bloggers resort to Patreon in order to pay the bills.

You can only make money through affiliate marketing when you have high visit to your blog but if you do not have considerable number of traffic on your website, it will be extremely difficult to make reasonable amount of money from affiliate marketing.

It depends on which products that you sell from your blog. If you are an affiliate for expensive products like TVs and cameras, affiliate marketing could be a legitimate income source for your blog. Selling inexpensive products through affiliate links won't help that much, as you won't get a big enough sales cut for it to matter.

I do not think it is possible to earn millions through content sites (blog, newspaper, magazine). I once heard from an insider that the online version of the highest-selling newspaper in the country was generating $1500 per day through Adsense. Still, the online newspaper is far from making millions. However, millions can be made every month on ecommerce.

This is due to half of users using an adblocker while navigation or even brave browser without any addon means for these users they browse site for free unless you force them disable ad blocker or use another navigator and half of cases they does not and leave site.

Well, ad blockers might be the reason why websites are not earning as much as they could. A couple of years ago, I had many sites that were generating $100 per month on average through ads, but currently, the same sites are not even earning half of what they used to earn.
