It's only few people who are interested in having a fixed deposit account because the money in the account will not be accessible to them until after a specific period of time with more interest rate.

Do you have a fixed deposit bank account? How interest are you receiving for your money saved in it?

I have a fixed deposit bank account. I have locked my funds for 5 years and receive interest quarterly. The interest I receive from my fixed deposit bank account helps me to pay my bills in the month when I am short of funds.

I do not have a fixed deposit bank account but my wife has fixed deposit bank account. I am not a fan of fixed deposit bank account, I like to invest money rather than keeping in a fixed deposit bank account.
