Do you have any bad experience related to traveling?

I have been traveling for many years, I don't do frequent traveling but I make sure to travel and explore places at least once a year. I have never encountered any bad experience so far. Well, I did have some quarrels and other minor incidents but I do not have any bad experiences related to traveling. What about you, have you experienced anything bad while traveling?

Definitely. I went on a road trip right out of high school with friends and a girlfriend who were moving to other towns. My friends got off at different locations and then my girlfriend left me to be with her mom in another town 6 hours away. I didn't have a GPS to navigate so I got lost. I had to navigate using paper maps which sucked even more. After I made it home I discovered that I had developed a mild case of hodophobia. A phobia of traveling. It's where I get anxiety and panic attacks for when I'm on the road going places I've never been even though I use a GPS to get there.
