Do you get stressed out before important meetings?

I sleep a lot and when I wake up, I tend to work a lot. The main problem is that I am a night owl and night owls get tired early. We may not be designed to stay up late. However, occasionally staying up late would not hurt your health.
I used to be a night owl but I am finding it very hard to deprive myself of sleep these days. I think I need to get back to working at night. It is better than working during the day.

It's perfectly normal to get stressed out most times, especially when you know that particular meeting is extremely important. There are times i also get stressed out even before the meeting, especially when i am trying to put everything in order.

It has to do with individual body system and how you can adapt to different situations. It is not one-size-fits-all approach because we have different areas of strength and that's what should be capitalised on.
 
At times, it's normal to get nervy before meetings. I've found myself in this position a couple of times. However, those nervy moments doesn't last.

To avoid such situations what I do is to always prepare very well before meetings. I envisage possible scenarios and prepare speeches or questions I may likely ask or be asked during the meeting. Preparation is key.
 
Do you ever get stressed out before you have to jump into an important meeting? I am not a fan of meetings for the most part, in fact I can't stand meetings because they can be anxiety inducing. How do you usually handle meetings?

It is the reason why I like it whenever there is going to be any kind of meeting, it should be conducted in the morning before any other kind of works will start because anything that is done after I have started working will always be very stressful for me.

It depends. If I only have to go there to meet new friends and interact I may not have any problem but if I am among one with special duties like giving a speech or something similar then just know it won't be easy for me.
 
If you have prepared for the meeting and knows everything about the meeting , then it will be easier for you to handle everything concerning the meeting but If you don't know what to say , then you will be stressed .

I think that meditating before meeting could possibly help us a lot when it comes to managing stress before any kind of meeting. There are many ways to manage stress before you conduct meeting.
 
Actually sometimes I get stressed out even before some important meetings, even though it's not always but most often.

Due to some implan schedules which will require your attention and it's very important for the achievement of your goals.
I only got stressed out just once before an important meeting/event and the reason being that I was told to prepare and organised the meeting alone and the running around alone makes it tiring .
 
Actually it depends on the kind of work you do and how you plan your time for an important schedule.

Actually if you worked alot to an extent of over stressing yourself, it will definitely affect you before important meeting time.

Business meetings are supposed to be carried out before workers get into their routine on daily basis because whenever you pull workers from their job to come and sit down and take part in a meeting, it is always energy drowing and boring.
 
It's common to experience anxiety before significant encounters. Important meetings can be a major source of stress for many people. Stress is a natural reaction to difficult situations. It's crucial to keep in mind that some stress can be beneficial because it can keep you concentrated and perform at your best.
Yup feeling stressful is normal many people feel stressful when they are in difficult situations I also feel it when I have meetings it's not a great feeling but I always try to calm myself down

I have worked in a company where they used to conduct meetings at the end of the shift! The manager used to give a lecture and he used to consume half an hour! This used to annoy many employees. He used to continuously criticise every employee in each meeting.

Seriously if I was working in such company and I am allowed to press my phone in such meeting, I will completely be on my phone till the end of the meeting and wouldn't even mind about whatever he has to complain about any worker in the meeting.
