I always celebrate my birthday. I make sure to take the day off of work if it falls on a weekday. My spouse will usually get me a gift or two and I get to pick what we have for dinner.

I like getting an extra day off to relax. xD It's even better when it's a paid day off too!

Oh does your company have a provision for that? I really do wish that though, as I've seen that in job ads. Not really a good enough reason to move tbh, but i wish my company did that.

My grandfather died that year three days after which made me feel really guilty. Hence why I no longer wanted to celebrate my birthday.

Excluding 60 bank holidays as of this year 😄 But the company won't be actually considering all the bank holidays. They give for the top 10 among them.
