Do Gambling/Casino related sites rank?

My friend has a casino themed site that also has resources for gambling and casino games. I was curious, is that even allowed within Google? I was asked to remove an article about casinos on my old blog, and it was because of adsense. I guess google doesn't allow ads/discussion about gambling and casinos when using adsense.

Do you think they do the same thing for SEO?
Sure, they do rank. Because when you search for them online even on Google, you will be able to find them. The only problem is that they are not as pronounced or as promoted by search engines as other sites.

I really don't think this kind of website can rank high on any search engine. It is just like porn Website. They are not really allowed to rank on different search engine PLATFORMs and this will definitely be a set back for them

Most definitely all gambling and casino sites and platforms do rank on google most times because these gambling sites and casinos also run ads too if you are very observant

I don't think it's actually possible for any search engine to rank any website or blog that has a content that contains gambling or any casino related topics in it for any website owner

Yes they do rank for the related term in their niches. The same thing go for coupon niche, there are lots of sites that rank for niche keywords. It's good to budget lots of fund for SEO if you are planning to enter these niches.

I don't think that Google is against gambling sites because I have seen some forums with Google AdSense advertising gambling sites

The people in the comments have reiterated my opinions on the matter, a sense might no accept contents related to gambling that doesn't mean SEO optimization wont work for it.

Website in this two niches you mentioned in your post rank very well on Google search engine. The only problem is is they are competitive and people in that need to spend a lot of money to rank higher on Google search engine.

Honestly I don't think they rank and I wouldn't dispute or ask why. They're are direct selling sites or platforms; there's nothing you want to learn that they're willing to teach or show you.
The best thing they can contain in searches is their location.

If Google doesn't allow articles or even discussions about gambling, I think it almost certainly could be the same for SEO.
However why the reason was not explicitly explained by Google?

I don't think those with casino sites don't monetize their site with google adsense. A lot of people erroneously believe that google adsense is the only way to monetise a website. As for seo, google can't stop casino website from ranking high. Seo means search engine optimization so it just a record of what people are searching in google.

I think it's a matter of relevancy. Google puts more emphasis on relevant networking. For example, if yours is a restaurant website, what signal would a gambling link to it send to Google? It will be treated as junk and irrelevant.

Now, if you are a casino website and a gambling forum links back to you, Google will look at it as a recommendation made by the forum to you (especially if it is high-profile). You will receive credit and the necessary link juice to move up the search engines.

I don't think google refuses to monetize any blog that discusses about casino gambling, or any kind of gambling. I've been to many blogs, forums etc, they have google Adsense and they discuss vividly about gbling. As long as what you're discussing about isn't prohibited, its almost accepted worldwide, google doesn't have issue with that.

Google actually do cery out ranknig on all sites, the thing is that provided you are playing baccoding to the rulles of seo, your site will definitelly be ranked or indexed by google,be it comapny, casino etc.

There are annuaries for the gambling websites taking all casinos one after one and talking about drawbacks and bonuses and if it is legit or scam and these pages are referenced means ranked.
