If someone was going to buy you a desktop or laptop for Christmas, for gaming, which one would you choose? And, why? Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Here are a few points:
  • Desktops may be upgraded one by one, and if a component fails, it can be replaced. When a part on a laptop fails, it's common to have to rebuild the entire machine or purchase an entirely new PC
  • In comparison to desktops, laptops produce a lot of vent sounds.
  • Gaming Laptops can run out of battery unless they are always plugged in, mid-game.
If you know how to build a PC, I would recommend choosing a desktop as it's cheaper to buy individual components for the machine, and, ultimately, you'll get a higher specification to

There is a technical problem when there are vent sounds means the hardware is at a higher temperature than usual or the laptop wasn't cleaned well or using the laptop during recharging your gadget which is not something good at all.

I prefer laptops. I am always on my laptop. I hardly use desktops anymore. Got used to doing stuff on my laptop so I don't need a desktop. Some laptops are quiet. Some laptops are have a loud vent.

This is due to the capability of the laptop means you can even bring your laptop with you when you travel elsewhere while for PC it is fixed place means placing with you in an airplane will be something impossible as rejected for its weight compared to a laptop.

Laptop for me. Portable, convenient, and the perfect size. I have an HP Envy x360 and it's very nice to use since I can take it anywhere in my house and use it there.

It all depends on how and when you want to utilize it.

I'm not a gamer or a coder. I never need it on the move, so when my old laptop dies, I'll replace it with a desktop (which is both cheaper and quieter) for home use and a tablet with keyboard and pen for portable, simple tasks.
