Dan Mason is my favorite vaporwave and synthwave artist of all time. I discovered his music back in 2015 thanks to the Youtuber, This Is Dan Bell. He films abandoned buildings as well as dying malls and nasty hotel rooms. He used some of Dan Mason's music in a number of his dead mall videos. Like most vaporwave artists from the 10's, Dan Mason used samples of older songs from the 80's and 90's to make music but has a few albums he composed from scratch. His latest album, Sever is one he tried making in 48 hours but sadly had to stop since his mom passed away when he was in the middle of working on it.
