Community Management Challenges

Before our merge with FP, Promotion Future's challenge was getting people to return after they submitted their directory. The contests/events I ran weren't enough to bring traffic I wanted, so I had to go and do a lot of post exchanges. That consumed too much of my time.
I think with any promotion community, you'll have to provide the same features as the best one and then more unique features that are not provided by the best one but add a lot of value for the end-user.

That's how you win the competition.

But it obviously means you have to dedicate more time to it.

So true!! I didn't want to copy FP, so we had to be a little more creative with how we offered services. Now those are going to FP afterall :D

I can imagine that 🤣
Probably a good idea to provide a lot of chat sections too.
You know a bit like how OffTopix has a chat section and a webmaster section? I feel that’s what makes FP so active
