I agree with you. There is more to a site thab just the domain extension, we have so many .com extension websites that do not generate anything for the owner.

The problem at times is the fact that so many people are already used to the .com and they do not know that other domain extensions are valuable too, so they ignore them.

That's just it, even when i was entering into online newly, i was thinking its simply .com extension, but when i settled down, i got to know its never only .com others follows too.

Dot Co is another cool extension you can get for your domain name if it happens that dot com extension is no longer available. Another cool extensions are dot io and dot xyz.

so far I have not met any .co domain and honestly, personally I don't even like this domain. I prefer a .com (it's $ 1.20 on godaddy a .com domain / year)

I don't see any thing wrong in dot co domain name extension. They are lots of big and legit site that uses the extension.
And I will like you to tell me how I can get dot com domain extension for $1.2 on godday. I really need it. Or do you have any webhost company that has crypto currency as payment gateway

You can use any extension you want but .com will always be better. Extensions like .com, org,info,co are usually expensive than the rest. Picking them will be good if your website covers a broad niche.
