Can you quit your job to start a business?

I have already started my business but I am still holding unto my job because I still need money to pump into my business to make it a standard one before thinking about quitting my business.

I agree with you. You should never quit your job to start a business. Only quit if the business is already established and earning well. In the meantime, try to run both business and work until it is well balanced.

You need to make all the necessary arrangements before you quit your job and start a new business otherwise it is going to become a very challenging experience for you when you drop your job completely to start a new business that you have not done all the necessary groundwork for you to survive and sustain it.
