Can gambling be a career choice?

I mean, if you count the cards in blackjack good enough, maybe.

A chess tournament is technically a gamble in some sense - you pay the entry fee in hopes of winning more money. Sometimes that is a good bet, sometimes not.

It depends on how good you are at the game, and you have to be extremely good. The competition is fierce, and you constantly risk running out of money without a job as a safety net. I spend a year playing chess, and this is what I learned.

I might say that opting to choose gambling as a career might be a really bad career choice if you ask me. I would tend to become a professional trader rather than becoming a gambler because being a trader is still much more beneficial in the end.
It might be really bad not doubt but why not opted for some other profession gambling is not good you can fail at anytime but there are some people who rely on it

Playing a video game in a tournament is not really a gambling the way I see it because you know exactly what is required for you to win in that kind of game and if you have the skill and knowledge to win the game, then you can successfully win and make money from it.

It depends on the skill and knowledge of your competitors as well, that is where the gambling element is involved. You are gambling that you are better than your opponents.

For example, in a chess tournament, whom you are paired against to compete can be an X factor that can work for you or against you. They try to standardize it with the elo ratings, but you still get paired against higher-rated players to see if your skill has improved. Styles of opponents can clash with your own in ways that you didn't predict.

Also, performance of an individual on any given day can be a variable, up and down measure. A tough opponent on a good day may be okay, but a tough opponent on a day where your boss has been nagging you could wipe you out.

Gambling can never be a career choice. What if you are on a losing streak? How do you choose to get back your funds or earn money through gambling when you have already lost money? The only way to profit form gambling is by running your own casinos, either online or offline.

There are many people that claim they make a living by just gambling. They say that it is their major source of income and they spend all their time researching games. But I don't believe this is true one bit. Perhaps they say this so that people can subscribe to their services.

It is not possible for anyone to depend something based on chance as a source of livelihood or career. You need to have something doing and just make gambling a side hustle.
Yes some people earn a living through gambling, it is important to approach it with caution and understand the risks involved. Gambling is based on chance, and the outcomes are typically unpredictable. Many people who gamble do so for entertainment purposes, and it is not a reliable or sustainable source of income for most individuals.
It's worth noting that gambling can be addictive and lead to financial difficulties if not approached responsibly. It's always wise to gamble within your means and seek professional help if you develop a gambling problem.

There are lots of people who have made incredibly large amount of money from gambling but in fact they did not even know that they were going to do that and a good majority of them do not see it as a career path.

Those people you are talking about are well experienced people they have been into gambling for years and at the same time they have a steady source of prediction your own case may not be the same

The simple truth is that a lot of people rely on luck in order to make money from gambling and whenever they are lucky they will feel that it is a pattern which really works for them in terms of winning but it is not something that is steady. Luck doesn't obey 100% all the time.

Seriously, it's one of biggest mistake someone will make when it comes to taking gambling as a job career. You will lose more money than you would ever be able to make from taking part in gambling. Gambling is a curse habit.

It is very bad to take gambling as something you can make a living from. Relying on gambling can cause a lot of problem to the gambler and his or her family

It's critical to treat these assertions with caution. While some professional gamblers have honed their skills in particular games, it is extremely difficult and perilous to make a living purely from gambling. Many people who make similar statements can be trying to sell strategies or promote services. When assessing such claims, it is advisable to use caution and critical thinking.

Anyone who is interested in making gambling his career choice is already lost because there is no way that person would be able to be financially stable. This is because there is no way gambling gives you any guarantees when it comes to making money from it. Gambling is most likely going to put the person in serious debt over a long period of time.

first thing you need to ask yourself is if I gamble with the last money in my pocket will I win? what if you loss?you also need to know that gambling has greater chance of loss so it's not advice able to prioritize it as your major career or source of livelihood

It is very unfortunate that most people who are into gambling activities don't reason in a coordinated manner because from the experiences that they have already had in their gambling involvement, they should know that they usually lose more than they win. If they are smart, they should quit gambling because it is not realistic.

Gambling should never be a career choice for anyone because gambling isn't meant to help you win but to lose more. If you're into gambling, you're more closer to becoming broke than becoming rich from it. If 10 persons are into gambling, 9 of them will be losers. The one person left won't be much different from the rest.

Some of them have access to getting fixed games they bet. Once they have all the guarantee that the bet is a sure win because it's a fixed game, they will put everything in the bet and hope it's not a lie. When the fixed bet comes through, they will win so much money.

I have seen a man that claimed that he built a house from the money that he made from gambling. Those are the people that will always deceive the naive ones to keep wasting their money gambling just because they want to achieve the level of success that the others did as well.

Anyone who is smart is always going to know that this is a complete lie because there is no way it is possible for him to do that kind of project from betting unless he is doing another thing which he is not telling people the truth about it.
