Buying Posting

Do you buy posting for your forum? What effect do you think this has on your forum?

I personally haven't bought any yet, but I kind of would consider buying some for slow times like the one we are currently in to help mull up some activity

During the last days at NGG one of the admins started buying posts from Poostloop, but as soon as he stopped activity literally dropped to nothing..

Ehh... I've done post exchanges before just to generate some activity but once you stop the activity drops right back down if not down correctly. It's a dangerous game boys.

I've bought posting packages with points on promotion forums when I owned a forum, but I've never paid actual money for posts.

That's the problem- I have never seen a real member come out of postloop...

It's such a flawed system that they operate, people post, take the money and then piss off.

I think that buying posts is fine when a forum is just starting out, but don't buy posts weekly an hope that buying posts will make more users join the site. Usually the posters don't really care about the forum itself and about the payout at the end of the exchange.

I get a few of these when I start a forum, helps boost activity on the forum
