Buying locally vs. buying international

When it comes to buying online, do you buy form local online stores or do you buy from international stores? Well, I have bought from international online stores but I prefer to buy form local online stores. That's because I can get product delivered to my home in 3-4 days and I do not have to bother with custom duty just like when I buy international.
