I am trying to build my own desktop. Can you guy suggest a config for me. I will not be using the PC for gaming or anything like that. What I would like is a powerful enough PC in which I will be able to use virtualization softwares(a lot), video encoding/decoding, and application development. So I don't need all those fancy stuffs like cool cabinet. Also please don't miss anything like how many cooling fans and stuffs like that. I don't to mess it up since this is my first time building y own PC!

Also I would like it to be an affordable one. Also I prefer AMD processors.

I'd like to build my next PC, if I can find the time, because I feel that it would be a great learning experience and a very helpful way to better understand how a PC operates.

Why do you want to build as opposed to buy xpl0iter, is it to save money or for the pleasure of doing it?
