Currently, I am not active on any freelancing sites but when I was active on Upwork, I used to bid for a low amount in a hope to secure the contract. For instance, if the budget for the job was $50, I used to bid for $40-$45. This tactic worked for me sometimes. However, the major problem with this strategy is you will always end up with getting less paid for the job. Do you use this strategy to secure a job on freelancing sites?
