Well small, business can be recognised to some extent ,,ok I agree with that but people are generally interested in dealing with big business compared to the small one especially in the rural environment

No matter how small your business is, you can still make it noticeable for people to patronise it and you can achieve that by giving bonuses or discounts to your customers to encourage them to keep patronising your business.

Giving out discounts in business doesn't mean that you will not makes profits. Discounts is selling your products at a reduced price or than the normal price. If your profits on a product is 10 you can give discount of 3 to encourage people to buy from you.

Than you @Quert for your tips. I believe in all the three ways to make your business known. The first way is to post it online. You need to be active also in posting in social media sites. That's also true in the second way that you need to have a face or address of your business. Let them know that you are not a fly by night business. Third is to give free samples then that is good.
