Best domain for a blog

I will advise you to go for dot com extension because it is commonly used and it is highest in top level Domain name extension. If the dot com extension of they domain name you want to register is no longer available, the you can for any of dot net, dot Org, dot co. Avoid the like of cc, ru, su, Dr, fr etc. They do not decept a good domain name.

I don't think the domain extension is an issue with a blog. What's more important is the domain name of your blog. Whether it is in dot com or dot org or any other domain name provider the blog will be affected mostly by the domain name that you will give it. In choosing the best domain name, it should be short and descriptive of the nature of the site or blog. So think of a creative name for the niche of your blog before you register with any of the dot providers.

Type any name and check whether it is accessible. While you do that, consider:

The name is pronounceable

Critical

Simple to type

Not exceptionally long

Identified with your business/blog

While Blogger allows you a second level domain like cheers (dot) blogger (website, it is proposed that in the event that you are not kidding about the blog, get an essential area name(cheap, under $25) from a recorder or a sale on NamePros and afterward forward it to your blog. That way, individuals recall it better and you getting found is simpler.

If you are asking about the best platform for blogging, then go for WordPress, Best in customization, easy to use. However, if your question is related to the domain name, then it totally depends on the niche of your blog.

ZapMeta is a deep but easy to use meta search engine that performs web, directory, shopping, and job search capabilities. It offers flexible options for the user, while the interface is clean and straightforward. ZapMeta draws its information from well-known engines and directories.

Hello,

I want to start making a blog and I don't know which extension to choose.

What is the best domain extension for a blog ? Maybe .me , maybe .org / .net / .us ?
Would prefer into .org it represent a organization that thinks people that they have so many management if they got trouble they could some people to help if example the blog has to login information before entering a .me is like on facebook that only specific for itself.

All you can do is limit yourself if you use WordPress.com for your blog. We often suggest purchasing your own domain name, usually with another company (so hosting is with one company and your domains are with a different company).

Blogging Domain Platforms to Consider: Wix Best intuitive drag and drop website builder. WordPress with Bluehost Most popular blogging platform. Tumblr Best blogging platform for microblogging. Ghost Best blogging platform for publications. Blogger – Best free blogging platform.

I think there is a domain extension exclusively reserved for a blog site. for example if I want to build a blog for myself I can use justin dot blog. However, I do not know how popular is this domain with bloggers.

Even though search engines do not differentiate website based on domain extension, I will suggest you to use dot com for a couple of reasons, it is cheaper than most of the domains, and it has better trust from the general public

The best domain extension for a blog site is blogger.com which is the domain extension that I am using currently. It is a very good domain extension because you won't pay anything for their service.

For blog I always recommend choosing a .com domain name. While it can be tempting to come up with clever blog names using new extensions, .com is still the most established and credible domain name extension.

I have see a lot of people use dot blog extension for a blog site, however, I have never tried dot blog. I have used club, info, store, online, xyz for my blogs on various niches
