Article sites that have a built in social network

Ezine articles and a few others allow members to comment on each others articles. But that feels more like a blog feature, rather than social networking. It would be nice to find a social network that is heavily focused on user submitted articles, videos, tutorials, etc that is truly a social network. Please recommend one.
