Mashable said:Potluck, which launched to the public Tuesday, is a pared down social network that simply asks users to share links — no witty comments, no back-and-forth banter, just links. Once the link is shared, it appears in a notifications dashboard on the left side of the page, but unlike traditional news feeds, Potluck won't show the name of original sharer. Instead, it only displays the name of the link and the number of friends who have left comments on that link.
I decided to test it out.
I think the best way to describe it is a dumbed down twitter. If you're looking to just share links and videos, then it's perfect. If you want to have long discussions about the stuff you're sharing, then I'd stay away from it.
Keep in mind, this opinion is based on only five minutes of usage. I plan on using it more, and I guess I'm lucky enough to have a few friends sign-up with me. If you'd like to join me then feel free to!
