Are you excited for Windows 12?

Windows 12 is pretty close to releasing with a release date predicted for late 2024 - early 2025. I have only been using Windows 11 for less than a year so far, close to a year but I don't feel I have been using it long enough that I would switch to Windows 12 the minute it releases.

What are your thoughts on Windows 12 from what you know about the newest operating system being released by Microsoft? Will you be switching when it releases or will you be waiting?

I personally will be sticking with Windows 11 until more of my programs are confirmed to work with Windows 12.
I have not kept up with what is upcoming in the new release as most of my stuff is done on either a Mac or Linux. Odds are it is just going to be more AI tie-in to the system, and I can do without that.

i'll be sticking with Windows 11. Isn't Windows 12 supposed to be subscription based? Screw that noise. Won't use it until i need a new laptop that has it pre-installed if I'm being honest. Windows 11 runs just fine for me.

I'll be long gone from Windows before I use 12 outside a strictly business setting.

I'll just stick to Windows 11, plus I'm thinking about using Linux sometime soon in the future. I think it's a bit too soon for Microsoft to be rolling out Windows 12, when Windows 11 has only been out for a few years now. Also if it's going to be subscription base then I'll definitely stay away from it.

Windows 12 is been rumoured for a long time. For at least 2 years now. I don't think it will be released this year.

Windows 12?? I just got Windows 11 a year ago. But, when I am forced to switch. I' hoping I can customize the darn Start Bar again, like in Windows 10. I have a wide monitor. It makes more sense to me to have my taskbar along the left edge!! (Among other configurations...)

Given that the last Windows releases weren't really 'exciting', I can't say I feel excited about this one either.

With that being said, I hope it at least makes some quality-of-life improvements .
