Do you see yourself as someone who's a religious person or you're just getting back and doing your best to treat your fellow human being better?

I don't like having anything to do with someone who's too religious because they are usually very difficult to work with. Their religion interfere with every single thing they are doing.

I'm not religious, I don't believe in organized religion. I think most religions are too controlling, and some die hard religious people try to push their beliefs on others and shun them for living their lives.
This is how I feel about it.

I'm an Atheist. I've been an Atheist since I was young as 12 years old. I was raised Baptist. I was forced to read the Bible. I was unconvinced by those stories. I was forced to attend my mother's church. I was forced to pray to a deity that I believed to be fictional. When my mother had her motorcycle wreck she became even more controlling with her religious beliefs towards me causing fights. When I came out as an Atheist at the age of 18, she was very angry at me for a very long time and said hateful things to me. From time to time, she managed to make me attend church with her, but it didn't convince me that her god was real.

I was well acquainted with Atheism when I went to live with my biological father. He was a retired evolutionary anthropologist and I concluded through him and his studies is that religion is all man made and therefor concluded that gods are an invention of mankind. When I went to high school, I became good friends with a fellow atheist who made very compelling counter-apologetic arguments. As I've gotten older, I've become more fortified and comfortable in my atheism while not believing in the existence of gods and as a result I do not practice a religion.

I don't attend church. I've never had the real opportunity to, and with my schedule I rather not. I may watch a sermon online or something, but haven't even done that really. I have my beliefs. I believe in doing good and doing what is right. I believe that we have to have some kind of guidance as human beings or else people would not have the will to live or also simply have anarchy. Religion is what kept people in line for generations, perhaps now that's why things are so crazy - people don't have beliefs and don't have the calling to follow a rule or religion.

I question things, but I consider myself a Christian as my beliefs align mostly with it.

Indeed. Because people were also taught "other" religions were not right. Thus we must throw our religion in their faces and we must fight for our religion. It's an interesting concept.
I agree, it's funny how we have grown to believe a certain religion is the "right" one due to our other family members believing so, but when we turn into adults we have to start and make that choice for ourselves based on our own beliefs that we've accumulated over time.

I have to say that I am not fond of any religion that promotes violence or encourages murder just because that person does not believe in or practice that religion.

When you say Religious, are you asking if we believe in God? or are we Religious in general. As for me I am Pagan/Wiccan I have been sense I turned 21. Its my family that turned me away from Christianity when I was little. Forcing me to go-to church when I didn't want to. All this "you need to be saved" did not work with me. I guess I didn't want to grow up being like my family by judging people based on their sexual preferences. I'm not saying ALL Christens do this. but growing up in the Southeastern United States if you don't believe in God then your going th Hell.

I love being a Christian and living a life according to Jesus teachings because it's a better life.

However, though, I don't believe in shoving what I think on other people or using the government to do so and I don't believe in all traditional fundementalist beliefs.
