Do you guys have any tips for getting that top page 1 spot on a google search for certain keywords? It seems to be a real challenge for me.

Thanks.

Use lots of high quality backlinks, like dozzer said, use keyword research. Also make sure your website is established on social media webstes and make sure your website is getting traffic.

Backlinks, keyword research, good meta description/keywords/title and sitemap all help.

I have a few blog posts that show as the number one result on google when searched. It takes time but it also takes key content that appeals to google. Being too short or too long will hurt as well.

My first response would be deep pockets. Companies buy themselves to the top all the time. Then the next thing I would say is great original content and lots of it. Then you need to promote that content on social media so you get the traffic. At this point you will get backlinks because people will share your great content. It all snowballs from there.

This is very true!
