Am i allowed to use images of a film on my website if its a review?

If i am doing a review of a film or even a computer game, am i allowed to use photos / images from either that film / game? or Do i have to just create some images that go with the post but nothing to do with the film / game due to copyright?

I'm not too experienced with Copyright laws, but I believe as long as you credit the images/photos then you should be fine.
Such as:
[IMAGE HERE]
*Credit: John Doe, Rockstar

Yeah, not to sure myself . I wanting to know because when reviewing some films, they will be way better if i can put images / photos of the film in too.
