AI Breakthrough: Scanning Feline Faces to Detect Pain in Cats

An app has been trained to detect pain in cats faces by scanning thousands of pictures of felines. The developers of the artificial intelligence app say it is more than 95% accurate.

This is amazing. I am a huge lover of cats and have in the past had many cats as family pets, the last cat we had as a pet we sadly lost in July 2022. Often we tend to assume that a cat is in pain or even assume that they are fine but we never really know for sure.

This could help so many cat owners and maybe also even vets I would think.
