Affiliate your forum?

Do you affiliate your forum with other communities?

If so, what stipulations do you have on your affiliates? Do you require the other communities to be active, have a certain amount of members, etc.?

I have never done that but I have plants to do so. That's because it can help you with traffic as well as activities.

At other forums I would affiliate with active members, or if they would exchange as well. I've also had it where to trade affiliates their forum had to have at least 100 members as well or x amount of posts. It just kept more serious inquiries where their forum was not likely to die out any time soon. I tried to limit the amount of affiliates because I didn't want to overcrowd where the affiliate box was.
