A List of Website Market Places to Buy or Sell Websites

Recently I had to find a place where I can sell a few of my websites, so I did a search of website market places and found many. Some of them were paid and some of the offered free listings. I thought posting them here would be a good idea.
So here are those marketplaces where you can sell/buy websites/domain names.

• Site point market place: http://marketplace.sitepoint.com/
  • Here you will be able buy/sell websites/domain names/services and a lot more. Probably the best place to sell your websites if they're not that big! The listing is free.
• Digital Point Market place: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24
  • DP is also a good place to sell your services/websites/hosting services etc. But the recent changes made in DP need you to have atleast 3 likes before you can post in the market place. If you don't have these 3 likes, you can buy your way to the market place!
• eBay: http://www.ebay.com
  • The success rate of ebay for selling websites is low I believe. But the listing is free, so you might as well try this one!
• Webmaster-Talk Marketplace: http://www.webmaster-talk.com/marketplace/
  • One of the popular websites/forums when it comes to webmasters. Also the listing is free.
• Website Broker: http://www.websitebroker.com/
  • One of the most established market places online today. The listing is not free and will cost you $9.95 for a normal listing. If you want more exposure you can try that too for $29.95
• Deal A Site: http://www.dealasite.com/
  • Another established website market place with free listing.
• Buy Sell Websites: http://www.buysellwebsite.com/default.asp
  • If you have money to spend this is one of those websites which will get you the best quotes. This website claims as the most popular website market place in the world.
• BizBuySell: http://www.bizbuysell.com/
  • A site where you will be able to sell any type of businesses. They do have a specialized section for Internet related business. So if you want you can try your luck by posting your ad over there for sale.
• Website Properties: http://websiteproperties.com/
  • Another site which concentrates on selling/buying of businesses. Although this one is soles for businesses based on internet and supports posting websites for sale.
• Flippa: https://flippa.com/
  • Flippa is another premium website market place where listing is not free. Flippa is from the sitepoint family and very reputed.

I prefer digitalpoint as it has a large amount of buyers who are prepared to pay fair prices. However- if you have a more premium site then Flippa is probably the best choice.

I prefer to buy and sell on DP forum and Flippa.

Thanks for the list! I tried DigitalPoint but the "likes" were slow to come despite my most insightful comments. Nice to know that I can buy my way in... I'll try SitePoint too, I didn't know about that one.

DigitalPoint's marketplace sucks since that change. Very few listings.
