Would you sell your soul?

My idea is that you would lose something simple and valuable that you didn't really appreciate, in exchange for something flashy and cheap, though many others see it as expensive, as the trade-off. No, not worth it. 🤮

Well, what others see as expensive - might really be that way. I mean, what if you were offered a lot of real estate or being a rock star? 😃

It could be a metaphor for some people to represent an essence of what really means something to someone.

Just because it's meaning applies to other people doesn't mean that it applies everyone as well. Some are superstitious and others are not. I knew exactly what was meant when I answered the topic. I'm quite aware of what a metaphorical fallacious argument is as well as hypothesis contrary to fact fallacy in a discussion. The obvious did not escape me.

Well, whatever the case. Money talks. People say they can live without money, but life is way easier for those with money. Anyway, though, cancer and stuff doesn't discriminate, however.
You're right. Money talks and bullshit walks. I would love to be rich and have whatever I wanted. But wish in one hand and shit in the other, see which one fills up faster. It's not that I don't day dream about having it easy, I do. I've day dreamed about winning the lottery or inheriting a few million from a dead relative. I think that's normal for everyone to want something that might be unobtainable.

Well, it's not just about being rich but just surviving. For instance, in most US states you need $2,000 or $3,000 a month and that's just for a single person.

Selling a soul just like Ghost Rider, certainly not.
Soul is the only thing that I can call it my own, I do not have control over the rest of the things I have in my possession. I can sell my body but not soul

People don't outright sell thier soul to the devil. They sell it for money, fame, whatever, but they don't think the soul, itself, is being sold, but in a sense, it is.

Think about it.

No, I wouldn't - and this reminds me of something that happened when somebody tried to sell their soul on eBay.

The response from eBay was that: if the soul does not exist, then nothing is being sold and therefore the transaction is fraudulent; but if the soul does exist, then the seller is selling part of their body (and eBay's ToS forbid the sale of human body parts). So, either way, it was against their rules!
