My answer to this question is YES! If I get a good price, I would certainly sell my websites. For me running website is basically a way to make money. I have skills to build websites and web content, so I can easily build another website even when I sold my successful websites. In the last 10 years I have sold so many websites that I lost the count. Would you sell your most successful websites?

My most successful website is a brand that represents me.

So, I could never sell it.

I'd have to sell my name and all that. Plus, my brand has saved my life over the years so I couldn't get rid of it.
The first blog I created was a personal blog, the domain was two word and it used my first name. However, when I got a good price, I sold it. But interestingly, it was a corona time and the one who purchased simply vanished and when the domain expired, I reused the content. :D

No, because it is my "home" for my hobby. If I ever get out of the hobby then that may change.

I might, if I ever needed the funds and wanted to stop being a forum owner. This would be the only time I would sell it.
And that points out a difference in why many run a site. Some run it for possible income. Others run it because of an interest in a niche. What I have observed in my +decade of being involved in internet sites, those that are interested in the money rather than the topic have rabidly different views.

My revenue increases each year so I feel like selling it for a fixed amount might make me miss an opportunity!
