Would you ever move to a different country to save on the cost of living? Here in the States the cost of living can be tough. It costs alot to live in certain areas. So some people can't live like that.

Anyway, would you move to another country to save money?

Of course yes, when I have the opportunity to move to another country to save money, because the cost of living are very difficult so when I see a place where can live very comfortable I will be fine.

For me i do not think moving to another country would help me save, this is because the cost of even moving in the first place is extremely expensive, so it would be a lot better to just stay in my own country.

Hard to say. I believe that my social circle is a bit more impostant than the cost of living in a certain country.

I would not as I am just proud of my country and I do not think I will be given the same importance that I get in my country in the new country.

No because I'm very bad at adapting to new places for me it's not worth it since I have good income and I dearly love my county also I have many friends that live here and it would be shame to leave them only to save money

I live in the UK and the cost of living situation is really bad at the moment, it is sad to see so many people struggling, even those who work more than one job and work more hours than they should have to are struggling worse than I have ever seen.

If I had the chance to move to a country that was cheaper to live I would jump at the chance and would not look back. This is torture that I am seeing people go through at the moment in countries where you would not have ever expected it.

Living in Dorset/Sandbanks area currently, in Poole. The weather is really nice in the Summer but it attracts a lot of other citizens from cities to either Bournemouth or Poole Beaches. It’s one of the most expensive places to live in the world, with rent for a 4 bed house starting at 1500$. Buying a house? In the millions of dollars.

I’d probably want eventually move to Australia, however, the biggest challenge that I am facing is finding the funds to arrange the move and leaving everything behind including family.

The cost of living has drastically increased, including energy. Just take a look at how much my monthly electricity comes to. It costs 0.75p per KW, where @C.Grigg was stating it was 90% cheaper in South Carolina, in the state of Clover.

What really makes me sad, is wages are actually dropping. While the minimum wage of £10.42 has been raise in accordance with inflationary figures, the tax free threshold has been frozen for 8 years meaning you’re actually getting a 10% pay cut on top of inflation figures.

I also don’t believe the inflation is 10%, I think the ONS are lying 🤥 and that it’s more like 25 or 30% but don’t want to announce it officially as it will cause massive panic by consumers and businesses thus further damage to the economy.

The amount of homeless people on the streets with massive housing shortages, I thought the UK was a Tier 1 country to live in; and not a third world one.

The government needs to get their shi* together.

There is nothing that I can't do for the sake of my life. Life is a matter of choosing what pleases you to do on the earth. I would like to live a fancy life, whereby I need to live in a better house, drive a nice car and educate my kids in the abroad.
So I can go anywhere on earth to get that life I desire with my heart.

Doesn’t leaving your family, friends and your network of people behind not create a obstacle for you?

Probably not to another country, but more like a new city or township. The cost of living here on the lake is going up-up-up and I guess you could say we've had our fill of it anyway. My dad doesn't even feel like taking the boat out this year. 🛳️ So my mom put an offer on another house, and they took it. It's being inspected right now. It has woods rather than lakefront property.
If we can sell our house before the other house sells for a higher price, then it's ours.
The whole point is to no longer have mortgage payments, plus the insurance and property taxes will be a lot less too. Like you said, here in the States it does cost more to live in certain areas.

Though moving to another country in order to get a better job and be able to save more money has been my vision and target but leaving my family , most especially my wife and children behind has been an obstacles , but if any opportunity of taking them along present itself , I will rather leave with them than stay .

In my teen years and early adulthood, I frequently thought about moving to another country to save money. However, as I grew older, I understood I am already living in one of the cheapest countries in the world.

Moving to another country to save money is a personal decision that depends on many factors such as job opportunities, cost of living, and quality of life. It’s important to do your research and make sure you’re comfortable with the decision before making any big moves.

Well, I live in a tier 3 country, but I never thought that the conditions of many tier 1 countries would become worst. I think that the right kind of economical policies should be formed that would benefit the world as a whole, not some specific region. There are many things that we could do in order to improve the economy. However, sometimes it feels like this problem won't be solved quickly.

High cost of living message very difficult for someone to be able to save enough money to be able to start a new project that is going to help and improve the person's financial standing which is why I will always be interested in moving to companies where the cost of living is very low.

The cost of living in my country is increasing and there will soon come a time when there will be a shortage of products and basic necessities. This is why I have been planning to move to a different country with a far much better lifestyle. What country do you think would be a better place?

Bulgaria 🇧🇬 is one country that I have heard so much that the cost of living is very low compared to so many other countries out there and it is a very safe country for someone to leave him.

Actually moving to another country might not be a better way for you to be able to save money but maybe it might be different from the counter you left.

There are several ways to which you can save money most especially when you have a good financial habit.
