Would you ever go out and buy a ball python or an exotic king snake as a pet? Why or why not?

I would never have a snake as a pet, apart from the fact that in my country it is forbidden to have a pet of that type, it is not that I like reptiles in general, and fewer snakes.

It depends on the type of snake. If it is venomous or poisonous, then no. If it grows to be a big snake, then no. I'd love to have a pet snake one day, but one on the smaller side, like a Corn snake or King snake, since those are good starter snakes.

I don't have any business with keeping a snake. I don't usually have any form of violence disposition towards animals but I have an exception for snakes. Snakes are the only animal that I will kill with or without any prejudice. I hate them with passion.

My step father hates snakes as well but for a good reason. He's been bitten multiple times by copper head snakes when he worked out in the country and had to be hospitalized. As a result he developed a phobia of them and will kill them on sight. I walked outside once when I was 9 and he had smashed one's head with a two by four. Even though it's head was smashed it was still trying to bite him.

Well, it depends on the type of snake 🐍 we are dealing with here. If it isn't Poisonous or Venomous, then why can't I have it as a pet. It's really funny here in my country if you have snake as a pet. I don't mind having one though. But if my babe hates it or doesn't want it, then it's a no for me too.
Lol...

Damn! Imagine how much hate I would have for snakes after they have bitten me multiple times to even have me hospitalized. It's going to an all out war against them from me. I would even seek them out and kill them. Snakes don't die easily. Even when their heads are cut off, they will still be moving for a long time.

I have a massive fear of snakes so buying any snake as a pet would be a no-go for me.

I was quite shocked to find that someone who lives three doors down from me actually has not only a pet snake but also a pet tarantula as well. I only found this out as I saw them bring both of them out at one point to show the kids in the neighbourhood.

Luckily they keep them inside and in tanks.

Seriously, tarantula are very ugly and nasty. I would never want to be anywhere around them and I heard that some of them can be poisonous as well.

There's no way or how a snake is going to look innocent and harmless for me to be comfortable with it or being around it. If you keep one as a pet, better make sure it doesn't cross my boundaries because I'm killing it immediately.

When I was in my teens I had a desire to open a snake farm where I would be harvesting snake venom. I never though about snakes as pets
