Would you choose a hosting company just because it offers a free domain?

Not until recently before I started knowing about other types of domain such as name cheap, I only knew of free web host because it offered free domain and I made use of it.

Yes I will choose a hosting company because of the free domain name they are offering. I am thinking of creating a website and I am looking for a host company that will offer free domain name and also support crypto currency or payeer or perfect money as there payment gateway

Yes I would choose any of those if they are offering a free hosting plan. That I am choosing them doesn't mean I must keep using them. It's just for the feel of the domain really works

If I am just starting, then I would prefer to go with company which offers free domain for 1 year. Once I am good at my skills and have understood all the requirements to generate a good business from my website, I will go with the suitable plans of the same company or other companies.

Yes this would be the better choice, during that one year you can use it to learn all there is to know about these field and also gain experience

Of course, it's a side attraction to use them for your hosting. Though I don't believe that the free domain is really an add on like that. I feel that the cost has been included in the price of hosting.
That they offer free domain doesn't mean that they'll offer better services

Most of these free things people are offering online usually comes with a strange attached. So I would rather pay to register my own domain name instead of going for the free ones.

I once tried to register with ipage because it was offering a free domain for those who purchased one of their hosting packages. However, during the check out I found that they have additional fees.

There's no one who doesn't like free things and it could be a form of promotion by the company to attract customers which is not bad

Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong in choosing a hosting that gives free domain just to encourage you for patronizing them. We have seen so many companies or businesses encourage their customers by giving out one item for free if they buy either 2 or 3 as the case may be. It is just my opinion and thanks for sharing.

I'll choose it only temporarily. Most free domains lack the features of those acquired with money. Either ways, I'll leverage on the free domain on a temporary fix.

There are a lot of web hosting companies that offer a free domain for the first year if you buy one of their hosting plans. There are conditions applied if you want to use this feature and the primary condition is you need to pay for the one-year hosting fee in advance. A lot of website builders like weebly, wix etc also offer free domain if you buy their premium service for the term of one year and the free domain applies only for the first year. If you choose to build a website through wordpress premium service, you also get a free domain for one year.

Here are some of the companies that offer free domain if you are buying their hosting plan.
Hostinger
iPage
Bluehost, etc.

Would you choose any of the aforementioned companies just because they are offering free domain with their hosting plan?

no, I would not honestly choose this offer because I do not trust new companies and especially free domains. those domains probably do not have full access to them s.a.m.d. so I better break $ 10 for a domain but I know I have full access to it and I'm stress free.
