What is the worst possible thing to do when owning a forum, other than giving up or banning everyone on the forum? And, what's the worst possible thing to do as a forum member?

Owning a forum: being an idiot. No one wants to be on a forum ran by an idiot.

Being on a forum: no doubt insulting the owner/person running the forum. People hate being insulted.
